Zamárdi is one of the most easily accessible resort places with great features on the southern shore of the Lake Balaton. It is easily approachable from the M7 highway. The railway line passes through the town with three stations (Zamárdi, Zamárdi-felső, Balatonszéplak-alsó) in Zamárdi. The long distance busses also make several stops in the town.
